THE BEGINNINGS OF KENDRICK LAMAR

Kendrick Lamar Duckworth was born on 17 June 1987 in Compton, California. Dre. In 2003, aged just 16, he released his first mixtape, "Youngest Head In Charge", under the pseudonym of K-Dot.

First spotted by the Def Jam label whose head is none other than Jay-Z, he was ultimately signed by Top Dawg Entertainment, an independent label in Los Angeles.

In 2005, he released "Training Day", a mixtape of 36 songs, still under the name of K-Dot. It was only in 2008 that he appeared as Kendrick Lamar on Jay Rock's first album, "All My Life (In the Ghetto)". A year later, he formed a rap group with Dr. Dre, Ab-Soul and Schoolboy Q called Black Hippy.

HIS COLLABORATION WITH DR DRE: A SUCCESS

In 2011, Kendrick Lamar released his first album, "Section.80", which he created with Dr. Dre. A real success. In the same year, he collaborated with The Game on their album, "The R.E.D" or on "Take Care" by Drake. In 2012, he released his 2nd album, "Good Kid, m.A.A.d city", which was ranked second on the Billboard charts, produced once again by Dr. Dre.

In 2015, he released his third album, "To Pimp a Butterfly", which he worked on with Terrace Martin, Thundercat and Pharrell Williams. His album got to No. 1 and picked up 7 Grammy Awards from twenty nominations. One year later, he released a compilation called "Untitled Unmastered", which got to No. 1 as soon as it was released.

Today, Kendrick Lamar is considered to be one of the greatest Rap and RNB rappers of his generation.

On Saturday, 22 September 2012, Lady Gaga gave a concert at Stade de France in front of 76,000 spectators.

Lady Gaga dropped out of university to devote herself entirely to music. She then had a series of waitressing jobs. But her start was not a simple one. Then aged 19, her contract with the Dej Jam Records label was ended after only three months.

To celebrate the 20th anniversary of their "Black Album", Metallica embarked on a European tour and performed on stage at Stade de France on 12 May 2012.

James Hetfield (vocals) and Dave Mustaine (bass) followed him. In 1983, the group released "Kill'em All" and began touring. In 1987, they released the album, "Master of Puppets", one of their most popular albums, which was followed by a tour. Unfortunately, this tour was marked by a tragedy, as Cliff Burton died in a bus accident. But the group decided to continue the Metallica adventure.

AFTER CLIFF BURTON

They held auditions to find their new bass player. Jason Newsted impressed them, learning all their songs in just a few days.

In 1991, Metallica released the album, "Black Album", which became the group's biggest selling album. They won a Grammy that year for the song, "Stone Cold Crazy". In 1996, two albums followed: "Load and Reload" then a double album of covers. Boosted by their success, they headlined that year's Lollapalooza festival.

Jason left the group in 2001 to concentrate on his family and to physically recover from 14 years of concerts. Robert Trujillo replaced him and they released the controversial album, "St. Anger", in 2003. A DVD behind the scenes of St. Anger was also released.

Metallica performed a series of concerts. In 2008, they released the last of their studio albums to date, "Death Magnetic".

The group was formed in 1996 in Devon, England. Composed of 4 members, Matthew Bellamy, Dominic Howard and Christopher Wolstenholme, their first release in March 1998 was an EP entitled Muse. Then the following year, Muscle Museum EP.

On June 11 and 12, 2010, Muse performed for the first time at Stade de France during their world tour, "The Resistance Tour".

AN IMMEDIATE SUCCESS WITH THE SHOWBIZ ALBUM

Dennis Smith and Safta Jaffrey set up a production company especially for Muse. They recorded the Showbiz album which was first released in France in September 1999, and then in the rest of the world in October 1999. Muse have a special affection for France.

The group's success was immediate. After a tour of 200 dates, they recorded a second work containing only 4 tracks and set off on tour again. In 2001, the group released their album, Origin of Symmetry.

CONSECRATION WITH THE ALBUM, ABSOLUTION

After a period of silence between 2002 and 2003, the group released their third album in 2004: Absolution, which was a great success, earning them worldwide fame. With this success, they organised the Absolution tour, a year-long tour with 173 concerts in 20 countries.

In 2006, Muse released their fourth album, Black Holes And Revelations and the group returned with The Resistance in 2009 and then with the 2nd law in 2012 and finally in 2015 with Drones.

From the outset, Mylène Farmer cultivated an ambiguous image as a Lolita ingénue, an image that came into its own with the release of her first album in January 1986, "Cendres de lunes", which sold a million copies!

The first single from the "Libertine" album came out in March. "Ainsi soit je", her second album, came out in 1988 and marked one of the highlights of French pop in the 80s. This album became the first diamond album awarded to a female singer in France.
