About rugby matches at Stade de France
As every year, the biggest rugby matches take place at Stade de France; during the 6 Nations Championship. Guy Noves’s French team will have to go out of their way after the last defeat against the All Blacks (19-24) in order to win titles again, while the titanic battle for the French Cup is in full swing for the Top 14.

November 2016France vs New Zealand
Although the French rugby union team have won the Six Nations Championship on 24 occasions, competition is raging and it is getting harder to get to a final! Despite a good start full of rage and desire, the French team rushed into the fray without managing to overcome a bruised but resilient All Blacks defence. Destabilised and bewildered by this experienced wall, the French team yielded and lost (19-24).
November 2016France vs Australia
It wasn’t the last slip-up of the French team at Stade de France. The defeat against Australia (23-25), on November 19 2016, caused more than one to “redden” with anger. After a solid victory against Argentina in June, an easy win against SAMOA, Guy Noves's French team came off the boil against a more realistic Australian team, while a few thousand fans came to support the team. An even greater disappointment for Camille Lopez, the Clermont fly-half, who could have tipped the game in favour of the French, but who missed a drop-goal attempt.
