How do you choose your seat at the Stade de France?

Whether you prefer to sit or stand, here are our top tips to help you choose which of our 80,000 seats will give you the most out of your experience.

What are the best seats for a match?

Whether it's a football or rugby match, you'll be as close to the pitch as possible thanks to the seats in the lower East Stand. You'll be able to follow the players' positions closely, so you won't miss any of the action and you'll be able to enjoy the physical intensity of the match.

For thrilling football matches, the seats in the high and mid-lateral stands offer a panoramic view of the pitch. If you prefer to be at the heart of the atmosphere, we recommend you opt for the seats on the north curve of the lower stand. Between the cheers of the fans and the music of the brass band, believe us, the experience will be immersive. The bonus? Thanks to the cameras, you might even get the chance to admire yourself on video on the big screen.

For rugby matches, the quarter-bend seats in the middle stand will give you a perfect view of the game, especially for conversions and penalties. You'll have an unobstructed view of the whole pitch. Finally, for the liveliest experience, book your seats in the north corner of the middle stand! There you'll feel all the energy and excitement of the match, carried along by the passionate chants of the fans.

Where are the best seats for a concert?

For concerts, the most sought-after locations are traditionally the categories that combine proximity to the stage and the best sound quality: very often the gold pit (known as the gold lawn at the Stade de France) and the gold square.
N.B.: the names of the categories vary depending on the concert and the configuration of the stage (side or circular).

Seating in the stands offers an unobstructed view of the main stages and their many lighting and pyrotechnic effects. With this often more affordable seating, the artists remain within sight, especially if you choose seats on either side of the stage. You can also order drinks, snacks and snacks on the spot.

The lawn/pit, located at the foot of the stage, will allow you to be as close as possible to your favourite artists. Take care when choosing a pit: prices may vary considerably if you choose a seated pit (also known as a numbered seating area) or a standing pit. The last lines of the lawn give you more space to move around the stage and easy access to the nearby refreshment stands.

For a premium service, opt for hospitality and VIP areas

Would you like to experience the intensity of the events at the Stade de France in optimum comfort? The VIP areas will delight you.
