STROMAE'S EARLY DAYS
Paul Van Haver, alias Stromae, was born in Brussels on 12 March 1985. It was in rap that he took his first steps with his group Suspicion and the rapper, Jedi. He became Stromae. Between 2000 and 2009, Stromae had a solo career and financed his first album himself. In 2008, he released his first album of 4 songs and composed for the singer, Melissa M, and the rapper Kery James.
In 2009, after being spotted by Universal Music France, he released his first single, "Alors on danse", which topped the charts in many European countries: France, Germany, Belgium... He then won his first NRJ Music Award.
A METEORIC RISE
The Music Industry Awards even named it as the hit of the year! Compared to Jacques Brel and Gaëtan Roussel, he received his Victoire de la Musique award in 2011 for his album, "Cheese". In 2013, his second album, "Racine Carré", confirmed his meteoric rise. His singles, "Formidable", "Papaoutai", "Tous les mêmes", "Ta fête" as well as "Carmen" were immediately smash hits. All of his concerts are sell-outs. The clip, "Papaoutai", is the most viewed French-language video in the world on YouTube with 200 million views. Stromae won the best Belgian artist award at the MTV Europe Music Awards. He has four diamond discs in France.
In terms of his love-life, he married his stylist, Coralie Barbier, who is also Belgian.

The Joshua Tree Tour 2017
U2 vient d'annoncer son retour dans les stades pour le Joshua Tree Tour 2017, célébrant ainsi le 30ème anniversaire de son album classique. Chaque show présentera l’album The Joshua Tree dans son intégralité, avec en première partie, pour l'Europe, Noel Gallagher.
Le Joshua Tree Tour 2017 passera par le Stade de France le mardi 25 juillet 2017.

U2'S EARLY DAYS
Originally called Larry Mullen's Band, they finally decided to call themselves U2 in 1978. That same year, they met Paul McGuinness, who became their manager.
They released their first record, Three, in 1979. It was a failure. But they remained motivated and signed to Island Records.
U2 RECOGNISED WORLDWIDE
During the Live Aid event in 1985, they performed on stage and stood out. Sales of their album took off. They were the rock group of the moment. They won two Grammy Awards with their album, The Joshua Tree.
Giant tours were organised and their albums sold millions of copies.
Alongside his musical activities, the group's singer, Bono, is very involved in charities. In 2003 and 2005, he was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize.

On September 28, 2013, the Urban Peace 3 event was held at Stade de France. Devoted to theme of "peace and urban solidarity", Sexion d'Assaut, IAM, La Fouine, Youssoupha, Maitre Gims and Orelsan were among the performers of this third edition. Stromae, did us the honour of coming on stage at Stade de France, performing his famous song, Formidable.
RENOWNED HIP-HOP PERFORMERS
Since its creation, three Urban Peace concerts have been held: in 2002, 2008 and 2013. Performers such as Psy 4 de la Rime, JoeyStarr, James Key, Soprano, Booba, Sefyu, Sexion d'Assaut, La Fouine and Stromae have been present, amongst others.
