But Lady Gaga did not give up and performed on stage at the Lower East Side with the group, Mackin Pulsifer and SGBand. It was only in 2008 that Lady Gaga got herself known. Noticed by Akon, she signed a contract with "Interscope Records". She released her debut album, "The Fame", which was a huge success, notably thanks to the famous songs: "Just Dance", a global number one, "Poker Face" and "LoveGame". She followed that with a tour, The Fame Ball Tour.
In 2009, she released her second album, "The Fame Monster", which featured the famous single, "Bad Romance". It was the second best-selling album of the year, behind Susan Boyle. She won the best international singer, best international album and international revelation of the year awards at the 2010 Brit Awards in London. In 2011, she released her third album, "Born this way", which sold over 5 million copies worldwide. A new tour was organised, The Born This Way Tour.
