OASIS at Stade de France
Biography of OASIS
Formed in Manchester in 1991, Oasis established itself as one of the most iconic British bands of its generation and as a major figure in the Britpop movement. Led by the Gallagher brothers – Liam Gallagher on vocals and Noel Gallagher on guitar, vocals and as the band’s long-standing principal songwriter – Oasis enjoyed a meteoric rise from the early 1990s onwards.
With *Definitely Maybe* in 1994, followed by *(What’s the Story) Morning Glory?* in 1995, Oasis quickly rose to the status of an international phenomenon. The band produced several tracks that have become classics, including “Wonderwall”, “Don’t Look Back in Anger” and “Champagne Supernova”, and left a lasting mark on the history of British rock.
After nearly two decades of success and seven studio albums, Oasis split up in 2009. It was not until fifteen years later that Liam and Noel Gallagher officially announced the band’s reunion. In 2025, Oasis Live ’25 marked their first live performances together in sixteen years and comprised 41 concerts across the globe.
Building on this comeback, Oasis are continuing the adventure with Oasis Live ’27, a new tour across the UK, Europe, the US and Ireland. The tour now comprises 42 sold-out concerts, including dates in Glasgow, Manchester, Munich, Barcelona, Amsterdam, Rome, Knebworth and at the Stade de France.
In France, Oasis will return to the Stade de France on 20 and 23 July 2027, two dates that place Paris at the heart of this new international tour.
More than thirty-five years after the band was formed, Oasis continues to bring to life a repertoire that has become an essential part of popular culture and to unite several generations around its anthems.
A new chapter in Oasis’s history will be written in 2027, and it will take place at the Stade de France.
