June 2014 ONE DIRECTION On June 20 and 21, 2014, One Direction were at Stade de France for their tour, the Where We Are Tour, during which they performed tracks from Midnight Memories, which despite its late release in the year (November 25, 2013), established itself as the best selling album of the year. Extremely successful appearances, if we are to believe the reactions of fans on social networks, on which they were extremely active, commenting and sharing images and their impressions live, throughout the concerts.

THE BEGINNINGS OF ONE DIRECTION

The group One Direction consists of Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson, all former candidates of the TV reality show, X-Factor, having decided to form a group.

Following the programme, they quickly released the song "Forever Young" then, "What Makes You Beautiful", their first single.

4 ALBUMS BETWEEN 2011 AND 2014

Productive to say the least, One Direction successively released the "Up All Night" album in 2011, then Take Home in 2012, Midnight Memories in 2013 and the aptly named "Four" in 2014.

Despite the departure of Zayn Malik, who wanted to "regain a normal life" and concentrate on his solo career, the group announced that it was working on a fifth album, from which a first extract was unveiled in July 2015.
