THE TRAGEDY: THE DEATH OF BON SCOTT, THE SINGER
The tragedy seemed insurmountable. On 19 February 1980, AC/DC's world came crashing down with the death of their singer, Bon Scott. However, the band did not give up. A few months later, Brian Johnson joined the band and the album, a tribute to their departed friend, was a huge success. Their iconic album Back in Black, released in 1980, remains one of the best-selling albums of all time, confirming their status as a major international band.
