COWBOY CARTER made musical history by reinterpreting elements of country, rock and roll, folk, rhythm and blues, pop, psychedelic soul and bluegrass, the second part of a trilogy. The album features excerpts from the fictional radio station KNTRY Radio Texas, with country legends such as Dolly Parton, Linda Martell and Willie Nelson appearing as hosts and collaborators on several tracks. Upon its release, the album reached number one on several charts, including the Billboard 200 and Top Country Albums, making Beyoncé the first black woman to reach that summit. Born in Houston, Beyoncé's ‘Cowboy Carter’ explores her Texan roots and pays tribute to the African-American influences of country music, a genre long dominated by conservative white men. At the 67th Grammy Awards ceremony, COWBOY CARTER won three Grammy Awards: Album of the Year, Best Country Album and Best Country Duo/Group Performance. The album also earned 11 nominations, reinforcing Beyoncé's status as the most nominated and awarded artist in Grammy Awards history, with a total of 99 nominations and 35 wins.  

A new tour called the COWBOY CARTER TOUR will bring the award-winning album to life for the first time on stage in a full-length show, following BEYONCÉ BOWL's explosive performance at Netflix's first NFL Christmas Gameday in 2024 at NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas. This half-time show captivated more than 27 million viewers in the United States.
