SYSTEM OF A DOWN ANNOUNCES STADIUM TOUR OF THE UNITED KINGDOM & EUROPE IN 2026

System Of A Down avec Queens Of The Stone Age and Acid Bath.

Following the colossal success of their sold-out six-stadium mini-tour of North America this summer – and a triumphant sold-out tour of Latin America earlier this year, selling a total of 500,000 tickets – rock icons and GRAMMY® winners System Of A Down announce their grand return to the UK and Europe in the summer of 2026 for a stadium tour.

Produced by Live Nation, the tour will kick off on 29 June in Stockholm, Sweden, and will include concerts at the Stade de France in Paris and Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London. It will also visit iconic venues in Germany, Italy and Poland.

The band will be joined on all dates by special guests Queens of the Stone Age, as well as opening act Acid Bath, offering an exceptional line-up featuring some of the most influential bands in modern rock.

Biography

System Of A Down (SOAD) is an American metal band from California, formed in 1994. Composed of Serj Tankian (vocals, keyboards), Daron Malakian (guitar, vocals), Shavo Odadjian (bass) and John Dolmayan (drums), SOAD has established itself as a key reference in the world of rock and alternative metal thanks to a unique style combining aggressive riffs, complex rhythms and powerful political messages.

The band rose to fame with the release of their second album, Toxicity, in 2001. This iconic record, featuring tracks such as Chop Suey!, propelled the band onto the world stage and left its mark on an entire generation of fans. Toxicity is still considered one of the best metal albums of the 21st century.

System Of A Down's live performances are legendary. They regularly perform in front of huge crowds in arenas, stadiums and festivals around the world. During their tours, their setlists include their most famous songs, much to the delight of their loyal fans. 

Despite several breaks, the band has often performed at renowned festivals such as Rock in Rio and Download. They sometimes share the stage with other legendary bands such as Deftones, Radiohead, and Osbourne (Ozzy). The band has also played at the Park Live Festival, attracting tens of thousands of people.

In 2025, the band gave a series of memorable shows in Chicago, Toronto, Bogota, and Lima, confirming their status as an international cult band. At each System Of A Down concert, the audience can discover or rediscover iconic songs, carried by music that is raw, committed, and captivating.

Almost ten years after their last visit, System Of A Down finally announced their return to Europe in 2026, promising new performances that were as explosive as they were eagerly awaited.

While French fans eagerly awaited the band's triumphant return to the stage, their expectations were met when the band announced that they would be performing for the first time at the Stade de France on 2 and 4 July 2026. This historic event is already shaping up to be one of the most memorable moments of the year for rock and metal fans.
