Following the colossal success of their sold-out six-stadium mini-tour of North America this summer – and a triumphant sold-out tour of Latin America earlier this year, selling a total of 500,000 tickets – rock icons and GRAMMY® winners System Of A Down announce their grand return to the UK and Europe in the summer of 2026 for a stadium tour.

Produced by Live Nation, the tour will kick off on 29 June in Stockholm, Sweden, and will include concerts at the Stade de France in Paris and Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London. It will also visit iconic venues in Germany, Italy and Poland.

The band will be joined on all dates by special guests Queens of the Stone Age, as well as opening act Acid Bath, offering an exceptional line-up featuring some of the most influential bands in modern rock.

Biography

The band rose to fame with the release of their second album, Toxicity, in 2001. This iconic record, featuring tracks such as Chop Suey, propelled the band onto the world stage and left its mark on an entire generation of fans. Toxicity is still considered one of the best metal albums of the 21st century.

System Of A Down's live performances are legendary. They regularly perform in front of huge crowds, whether in stadiums, at festivals, or on their own tours. Their setlist varies little but always includes their most famous songs. Memorable shows have taken place in Chicago, Toronto, Bogota, and Lima, confirming their cult status. At every System Of A Down concert, the audience can discover or rediscover iconic songs, carried by music that is both raw and refined.

Despite several breaks, the band remains active and continues to announce upcoming concerts and new performances, often at renowned festivals such as Rock in Rio or Download. They sometimes share the stage with other legendary bands such as Deftones, Radiohead, and Osbourne (Ozzy). The band has also played at the Park Live Festival, attracting tens of thousands of people.

Outside of concerts, System Of A Down maintains its connection with fans through exclusive videos, announcements of new dates, and campaigns for legal and humanitarian causes, particularly those related to America and Armenia, their families' countries of origin. Their commitment is evident in their songs, which are often political, denouncing social injustice and war.

Each member has also explored personal projects: Serj Tankian has been involved in charity work and solo projects, Daron Malakian founded Scars on Broadway, and John Dolmayan has tried his hand at entrepreneurship. Shavo Odadjian, meanwhile, has ventured into production and mixing.

SOAD's last concert was described as sick by critics, with crazy energy, a trance-like audience, and absolute musical mastery. At every System Of A Down concert, you can feel the artistic rage that is their strength.

While rumours circulated about a world tour entitled System Down, and fans around the world hoped that the rock ring would soon see SOAD's triumphant return to the stage, the band announced that they would be performing for the first time at the Stade de France on 2 July 2026.
