The Andros trophy was created in the 1990s under the impetus of Max Mamers and the Chairman of Andros, who decided to jointly launch a national sporting event to promote the brand and create new champions. This first championship was disputed in 4 events, whereas it includes several dozen different ones today.

SEVERAL TYPES OF CHAMPIONSHIPS, BUT ALWAYS ON ICE

The main characteristic of this competition is that it takes the form of several championships. The best known is the Elite Championship which has existed since the beginning and in which the most experienced drivers, such as Alain Prost or Olivier Panis, participate. There are also other categories such as "Women’s", "Promotion" or "Independent". Introduced in 1996, the Pilot Bike Championship is reserved exclusively for motorcycle riders. It is possible to participate in the competition with an engine of between 125 cc and 300 cc.

The Sprint Car Championship is dedicated to all 600 cc buggy drivers. It was finally in 2010 that new trophies emerged, such as the championship which is open to all electric cars, where competitors compete for first place based on a single car model.

SOME EVENTS TAKE PLACE AT STADE DE FRANCE

As part of the Andros trophy, certain events were held at Stade de France, which was fitted out for the occasion. More precisely, between 1999 and 2011, the super-final was run 7 times in this atypical place to the delight of the spectators. It should be noted, however, that this event is not part of the championship.

In 2025, AC/DC announced a new world tour, with two highly anticipated concerts in Paris on 9 and 13 August at the Stade de France in Saint-Denis.
