The French Rugby “Classico” Makes Its Grand Return to Stade de France

On December 19, 2026, Stade de France will host a must-see French rugby matchup: Stade Français Paris vs. Stade Toulousain. For its grand return to Saint-Denis, the capital’s club will return to the legendary Stade de France for a highly anticipated “Classico.”

Twelve years after its last regular-season match at Stade de France, Stade Français Paris will once again take part in the major away games that have marked the club’s history. Facing them will be Stade Toulousain, a historic rival in Paris’s big nights, promising another top-tier showdown.

The two clubs already share a rich history at Stade de France. The Parisian and Toulouse teams have faced off nine times in Saint-Denis, helping to make the Classico one of the most iconic matchups in French rugby. Notable among these matches is the one on October 15, 2005, which drew a crowd of 79,502 and saw Stade Français prevail 29–15, setting a attendance record for a regular-season match in the French Championship.

To enjoy this exceptional matchup in the best possible conditions, take advantage of VIP seats and access to Stade de France’s hospitality areas. It’s a privileged setting to experience all the intensity of the Classico and enjoy a unique rugby experience that combines comfort, prestige, and excitement.
