Stade de France, the stadium for the biggest rugby matches

Since its inauguration, the Stade de France has played host to some of rugby union's greatest matches. The stadium has hosted some memorable matches and been the scene of some of Les Bleus' greatest victories. In its more than 20-year history, this arena has seen the greatest European and world rugby nations take part in prestigious competitions such as the Six Nations Tournament, autumn tours, the European Cup Final in 2010, warm-up matches for the World Cup and, of course, the World Cups in 2007 and 2023. Teams such as Wales, England, Ireland and Scotland regularly play at the Stade de France.

Attending a match at the Stade de France also gives you the chance to see the French rugby team take on some of the biggest teams in the southern hemisphere, including Argentina, Fiji, Australia and the famous New Zealand All Blacks.

The Stade de France is also the venue for the TOP 14 Final. The culmination of several months of fierce competition between France's top clubs, the Top 14 Final is a highly anticipated event, pitting the two best teams of the season against each other. Who will lift the Brennus Shield this year? The possibilities are numerous: ASM Clermont Auvergne, Racing 92, Toulon, Toulouse, La Rochelle, Bayonne, Castres, Agen, Brive, Dax, Nevers...? All bets are off.

Following on from 2007, France has once again been chosen to host the Rugby World Cup in 2023. The cast at Stade de France was nothing short of exceptional! Six of the world's top eight teams - France, Australia, New Zealand, Scotland, South Africa and Ireland - took to the pitch during the group stage, including the opening match. The Stade de France also hosted two quarter-finals, two semi-finals, the final for third place and, finally, the grand final. The latter saw South Africa become world champions for the fourth time in their history, beating the All Blacks by one point with a score of 12-11.
Although you can follow the matches on television, nothing beats the experience of a friendly, intense and thrilling moment in the heart of the Stadium. So make the most of it. Book your tickets now!
