OUR REGION
A STADIUM THAT IS HELPING
ITS HOME GROW
Since its creation, the Stade de France has had a major impact on the transformation of Saint-Denis and the surrounding areas.
THE ECONOMIC IMPACT OF THE STADIUM
400 head offices have been set up in a brand new mixed-use neighbourhood, which has grown along with the Stadium, creating 25,000 jobs.
Deeply rooted in the local area, Stade de France plays an active role in its development, vitality and influence;
Its events business also benefits local actors, with one in two jobs in the region coming from events and one in three from outside events.
The Stade de France also supports the Local Residents' and Sponsors' Association, with whom it works to improve the way events are run.
THE STADIUM'S SOCIAL COMMITMENTS
>> INCLUSIVE EVENTS
> Hosting secondary school pupils from priority education areas through the Give Me Five scheme launched by Vinci to combat inequality.
> The Inclusion through Sport Awards , which recognise initiatives that bring together sport and young people who are struggling with employment.
> Offering experiences and tours of the stadium to a number of charities, including “Ma Chance Moi Aussi”, which supports the most vulnerable children.
>> LOCAL SPORTIVE EVENTS
> La Grande Course (“The Big Race”): a popular, supportive and eco-responsible event organised by Playground, which aims to break down the divide between Paris and its suburbs, and which welcomed 17,000 runners.
> Olympic Day: organised by PARIS 2024 in the annex stadium and in the Stade de France, sports tracks and fields were set up for the occasion, with around thirty Olympic and Paralympic sports to discover, as well as a tour of the facilities.
> La Voie Royale Half Marathon and 10k: with a Paralympic champion among the competitors and 3,500 participants, the race organised by the Saint-Denis Emotion Association highlighted sport for all.
CHARITABLE PARTNERS
SAINT-DENIS TOWN HALL
Throughout the year, the town of Saint-Denis organises a wide range of initiatives for the residents of Saint-Denis. As part of the "The Stade in the town, the town in the Stade" partnership, the Stade is partnering with Saint-Denis Town Hall to organise the "Festival de Saint-Denis" as well as the "Voie Royale" race, a sporting event that finishes on the Stade track. PLAINE COMMUNE
The cooperation between the Plaine Commune inter-municipal public territorial institution and the Stade de France is expressed, among other things, through the signing of the "Business-Region Charter", which puts in place concrete actions to promote employment and social integration, school-business relations, local economies, etc. as well as setting up public exhibitions or joint operations organised across the area.

A.D.A.Q
The aim of the Association for the Development and Engagement of the Stade de France Neighbourhood (A.D.A.Q.) is to put in place practical plans to integrate the Stade de France district into the city and its environment, in 3 areas: local activities to promote its events, prevention to reduce risks, and social and economic integration.

STADE DE FRANCE LOCAL RESIDENTS AND SPONSORS ASSOCIATION
A Stade de France that is proactive in its dialogue with its local environment. Individuals, professionals, shop and restaurant managers: everyone living in the vicinity of the stadium plays a vital role and their voices deserve to be heard. Our aim is simple: to establish and maintain an ongoing dialogue with our local environment. This involves annual events organised at the Stade de France with the Union of Stade de France Neighbouring Associations, the Stade de France Association of Local Residents and the Sponsors of the Stade de France. Organised every summer, the Fête des Riverains (“Neighbour Festival”) is the highlight of these events.
OUR COMMITMENT TO SOLIDARITY
>> PREMIERS DE CORDÉE
As part of its policy of raising awareness of disability, the Consortium has been supporting the Premiers de Cordée (“First in Line”) association since 2014. The latter offers children in hospital, and more generally children who are ill and/or disabled, as well as their families, a day of sporting activities and discoveries outside of medical and social-care institutions: an “Escape Day”. A day to get away from it all, get active, meet new people and have fun... whatever their disability or illness.
>> PROXITÉ
Founded in 2002, Proxité helps young people from disadvantaged areas to succeed at school, choose the right career path and find long-term employment. As part of this programme, Consortium employees sponsor young people from the region, supporting them in their career development.
>> ASSOCIATIONS IN THE PLAINE COMMUNE AREA
The Stade makes some of its facilities available to associations in the Plaine Commune area that are working to promote social integration and equal opportunities.
>> COLLECTING DONATIONS
Every year, the Stade organises collections (games/toys, clothing, etc.) among its employees. We always encourage donations: unused masks, books, T-shirts, goodies of all kinds, all for the benefit of schools and various associations in the Plaine Commune area.
>> GIANT VACCINE CENTRE
When the large-scale vaccination campaign against covid-19 was launched, the Stade got involved by making its facilities available. With a massive campaign of 545,000 injections in 6 months, the Stade became the largest vaccination centre in the Greater Paris region.
>> RAISING EMPLOYEE AWARENESS AROUND DISABILITY
Welcoming people with disabilities is a priority for the Stade de France.
> Workshops are regularly organised with external speakers. As part of the 27th European Week for the Employment of People with Disabilities, the Premiers de Cordée association came to the offices to present the “Handicube”. This device allows users to experiment with headphones and goggles that simulate different levels of disability.
> "Disability pathways" working group: launched in 2022 within the Consortium, aims to improve the experiences of people with disabilities during events organised at the Stade de France.
